Did you damage the glow plug controller/relay or forget to solid mount it?
It grounds through the base and must be fastened down.

Have you jump started truck lately? Sometimes overboosting by using quick start will fry glow plug system.

Might also be starting in limp mode from a bad CPS/OS?
Should code with that though.

Aftermarket CPS are junk out of the box-AC Delco ONLY!

CPS is dead then I would expect-should be a service engine soon light, trouble code stored.

BWD CPS are often bad right out of the box,so special order AC Delco if need be.

Some say a TDCO relearn should be done after a CPS replacement but I didn't after doing mine and no adverse affects-it's up to you if you can do it yourself or if there is a big expense involved.

I have the scan tools and procedures to do it myself and still didn't bother, but I changed out a failing Delco for a new Delco-might be different if your last relearn was done with an aftermarket CPS and your new one is a Delco?
