Hi how's it going. I was wondering if any one knows if you can put a 6.5 heads and use the electric injector pump on a old 6.2 diesel with mechanical pump. I got the motor and put it in my 95 1 ton. I just don't know if the crank sensor will work from my 95 6.5 to the 6.2 diesel. Thanks if any one has info.

 

Ok to make a 6.2 work with 6.5 hardware you can swap heads easy,ARP studs are a good idea.

To use the electronic IP you must use a 94+ timing chain and gear set,timing cover and balancer.
