Should be passenger side near the firewall...that is typically the issue...

So do you think the oil pressure sending unit and my glow plug relay failing at the same time be connected or just a coinsedince. Also would the oil pressure sending unit also control my oil temp gauge?

I am not sure that your relay actually failed...if the oil unit failed, the circuit was not being completed to tell the glow plug relay to activate. It could be part of the temp also...not sure on that one.

Know of a way to test the sending unit? Or would I need to get a new one and see if it works

Not that I know of...new one is the only way that I know of.
