93, 6.5 oil cooler lines question?

Default 93, 6.5 oil cooler lines question?

What holds the line in to the fitring on the block? Mine came off7hrs from home, now i have a screwdriver wedged between it and the exhaust so i can limp home

Some kind of spring clip, really lame set up. I ordered some new lines for mine:


The Dorman replacements are not very good, don't last long.

There is a plastic retainer that holds the lines in the fittings on the block.

Get rid of the stock setup and go with Leroy Diesel or Lubrication Specialists oil cooler/line kit.

DSG also makes a kit but more expensive.
