Default anyone able to help with some pics of a/c lines?!?!?!

I just got my dream truck. A 94 gmc sierra ext cab 1/2 ton diesel on a 5/7 drop. The guy I bought it from said the a/c would work if the line was put back on it. Well there is no line coming off the canister on the firewall or on the compressor. My question is, is there supposed to be two hoses that come off the compressor? Does one go to the canister on the firewall and one to the a/c condenser? Or just one hose that goes from the canister to the compressor? Help and pictures would be greatly appreciated!!!!

That's what I was thinking, where do they go to? Ones goes from the canister to the compressor, where does the other one go? I've never been good with a/c systems, sorry for coming off ignorant . And if anyone can post a pic I'd be sooooooo appreciative! It's gets humid as all hell in Oklahoma

You have it right,1 from condenser and 1 to the receiver/dryer.

Awesome, now those hoses usually come in a set and the hose that goes to the dryer will have the fitting on it to fill it up with freon?

Also the system is dry. Should I try to fill it a bit with the AC off in the cab. Then turn the AC on max and fill it the rest of the way. I know some compressors need freon to lubricate it. Just don't want to burn up the compressor before I get the freon in it.

you will want to pull a vachuum before putting freon in it buy a seal kit as well before you waste money on freon
