Ok as I've stated before my turbo on my truck just screams I mean like head turning turbo whistle and what I would like to know is if i have the factory turbo or not I looked at my turbo it says Borg Warner (spelling?) And i would like to know if that's the factory turbo or not

Factory turbo on the 97 would be a GM-8 turbo. Really small turbo, it was designed to produce 7-8 psi of boost is all. My guess its not factory if you get repulsing whistle. If ya put a picture of it here, then we'll be able to determined indefinitely if you have stock or not.
