CDR Valve?
#11
Pulled my nasty CDR off this weekend and had two jugs with 1/2 gallon diesel in each. Let it soak in one all night and then in the morning moved it over to the fresh jug for another hour. That fuel stayed clean in the fresh diesel until I started brushing onto the CDR where gunk had accumlated. The jug that it soaked in all night was as black as coal. I dunked in in and pulled it out for about 5 minutes to aggitate it well and to get the fuel in and out of both openings before letting it soak all night.
The truck ran fine when it was installed back on. I'll keep an eye on the oil in the turbo intake but other than a faint smell of diesel for a minute or two of driving , that went away very quickly, it was running great. So as for me I am going to hold off on buying one unless the oil is still a problem at the intake area.
~GOD BLESS~
