Default please help im at my wits end!!

Ok I know I post a lot of threads and I apologize but the search feature won't work on my phone, anyways in this thread I'm gonna sum up all the problems my truck has to see if y'all could help me

When starting (whether cold or hot plugged in or unplugged) it cranks for about 20 to 40 seconds before starting and I get a big puff of white smoke.

Next when I'm driving it'll seem to run fine but then out of no where lose power (stays running just has no get up) and sometimes after a while of driving it'll hiccup once and the power comes back

Next is uncommon turbo whistle, have checked the vacuum and wastegate all seem fine so y the uncommon whistle?

The only codes the truck is throwing r boost sensor codes (I forget the numbers) but no other codes

To my knowledge the truck is all stock the only thunk I have replaced is the LP and yes I did get all air out of the line

I think that's it I could be wrong though I'm just so fed up with this truck and I need some serious help with it, any advice is GREATLY appreciated

starting=It sounds to me like it's taking a while to get fuel to the injectors, possable slow lift pump.
Question for you, is your motor mostly mechanical like my 12valve or elect.? i'm not to familiar with those motors.
hickup=As for this, i'm thinking an injector could be cutting out, then comes back. Are the injectors the origanal injectors?
turbo=You could have a loose air to air boot,a leak in the exhaust some where,or if this turbo has the slincer ring like mine had, it could have been taken out.
Lets start here and see if others can help out.

Pin hole behind the LP will allow air in and cause the no power symptoms. But will not drip. How does ur line from tank to LP look?

Why not address the boost sensor code-it explains the power problem on it's own likely?

As for hard starts check the seals in the filter housing,bottom-fuel heater,back-water in fuel sensor.
They leak letting in air and causing hard starts when left sitting.

Plugged vent in filler cap can cause high vacuum in the tank causing both problems described.

Check the glow plugs for power-all 8.
And check/change the glow plugs-bosch duratherm are the best.

Well the only reason I don't just go buy a boost sensor is money is very hard to come by and I don't wanna just waste the money on a part I don't need, I didn't know if something else could be wrong that would trip that code so I asked for help
