S&B part number SB-75-5045, won't really make a difference with stock exhaust though. Shouldn't cost anymore than $270.
I choose S&B cause they advertised a 44.5% increase in flow and all the afe were under 20%.

Check car-part.com and look for a K-47 option air cleaner box for a 98+ 6.5-best CAI for the money.

Or you can make your own out of PVC, alls ya really need is the pipe, joints and an oiled air filter. A rubber to to connect to your turbo as well.

Never been fond of the K&N stuff-I think you are better off with a plain paper element or something like the lifetime amsoil filter.

They seem like a good product.

Don't get K&N, lots of the members who own a duramax mention that their filters let a relatively high amount of dirt in. I don't know about the filters in the intake system, but all their filters should be the same. Actually, if ya love the turbo whistle, you can get an ssdiesel intake for I think $100, it doesn't have a heat shield, but from experience with my S&B, it doesn't make a difference and the ssdiesel intake is supposed to make the turbo really scream. You can always make your own heat shield, just cardboard and Styrofoam, won't look pretty, but get the job done, or if you want a nice looking one, just make one out of wood boards.
This is for the ssdiesel intake (this product should be fine, but most guys have bad experiences with their injectors and glow plugs)
