6.5 turbo cold air intake
I think most if not all the oiled performance filter are basically the same (I've just heard bad things about K&Ns on duramaxes). I think a cheap fix would be to butcher the factory air box or just make it out of pvc if you don't care how it looks, spray it flat black and it should look fine.
Would really be good if you built a box around the filter and forced it to draw cold outside air.

It was put to me this way:
"go to any NASCAR race and see if you can find a K&N filter there, with unlimited budgets they use only the best parts available.
Every cup car will have a plain old paper element filter because they work the best for the job."

You should paint the PVC red or some other color to make it pop if you will and a heat shield would be nice from wood or scrap metal when you get the time.
~GOD BLESS~
