Default Trade completed! Pics attached

Well it is over - the trade has been completed. It took right at one month and all the advertising was free. I had offers from a v6 mustang, Honda 4 wheelers, Chevy Blazer 4X4. Cash offers as well. I also looked at three trucks in person. But I went with the one I looked at this past weekend.

I had: 97 Chevy K2500 Suburban LT package with third row seating. 4" turbo back exhaust, new PMD remote mounted, cold air intake, marine injectors, limo tint, Like new MT oversized tires. 220K miles Very straight clean body - see thumbnail pic.

I now have: 1996 GMC K3500 SLE Crew Cab 4X4 dually with a nice Utility box bed. Captain chairs up front with nice floor console. Factory CD player with working cassette! Whoo - hoo. Stock engine and exhaust. Even still has the "Turbo Power" cover on her under the hood. 193K miles and it is a 5 speed. Had the injector pump replaced about 20k miles ago. Starts right up and runs out great. Passed all the "tests" and has 2 new batteries. I really did not need the utility bed but it has come in handy already for my tools and chains and ****** straps I carry etc... Just did the tags and title transfer at the courthouse this morning.

Based on kelly blue book I gained about $1500 in value over the Suburban and perhaps a bit more with the box bed. But what I can't get over is how fast and sure it starts right up. Runs out great and smooth. Just needs a good bath inside and out. Will need tires in a bit. I posted some pics with the thumbnails below - do not know how to get a pic in the post itself.

Thank you all for your help - and thank GOD for HIS Grace and provision!

~GOD BLESS~

Thank you for the comment on the truck - and yeah I am really liking the NV4500. I only have about four days of drive time in on it so far - but it is a big difference from the auto. Also going up to a one ton from the Burb 3/4 makes for a different driving experience. I have almost got it down to where I can navigate my neighborhood in third gear without having to downshift. We have some pretty nasty short hills and if I approach with the right speed it pulls right on up em' . Thanks for your help on my thread comparing an auto to a 5 speed. That helped me make up my mind about the GMC.

~GOD BLESS~
