93 6.5 turbo funny start up

Default 93 6.5 turbo funny start up
When I start the truck it makes the diesel clacking, only for a second i it sounds more like a gas engine any ideas what this might be or why it would do this?

Cold weather death rattle is what it is called and is pretty normal for a 6.5,especially if the timing has been advanced any?
