You have to change pretty much every thing. Motor mounts, trans, wiring, gas pedal, and a lot of other stuff. It would be a lot easier and cheaper to change the whole truck.

The 6.5 has same power ratings as second gen cummins. but cummins have a little more low end grunt but they redline at 3000rpm vs 6.5 3500rpm but yes motor mounts most ppl fab cummins mounts too work will also need a custom driveshaft maybe....are you using automatic or standard trans standard is much easier with gm's nv4500 you change input shaft and bearing with dodges input shaft and bearing on there nv4500 trans other than that its just clearances to check tolerances centering engine most ppl rig there 6.5 oil press gauge to cummins other than tht not much cummins has only a couple wires for inj pump n thts it...first thing to do to that cummins is fix the killa dowel pin otherwise later down road ur gonna want tht 6.5 back the dieselstop on youtube has plenty of vids on fixing kdp or killa dowel pin ...what year cummins engine are you getting ? id get a 95-97

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

And also change throttle pedal to a gm gas throttle pedal as its mechanical
