So i got a little bit of extra money this week and decided to get the Ford solenoid. i wired it up and bolted it straight to the truck (grounded) and there is one solid click. They work perfectly now so i can finally drive it without that loud crap.

Thanks for all your help

Glad you got it going.
Did you use a push button switch?

Also don't run the ford solenoid for much more than 10 seconds-they weren't made for continuous duty.

No I just used the toggle that was in it. And I only run it for a max of 5 seconds at a time.
