Default 92 3500 Tire Size?

Hey i got a 92 quad cab 3500 6.5 trubo diesel Dually. I found a 4.5 in lift for it from fab tech and i was just wondering if anyone would know the biggest tire size i would be able to fit on the 16 in rims????? I was wondering if anyone had any advice on military tires. I have heard good and bad things. Also are there any other problems i can run into installing this lift?

Tire I would go with if you're using the stock wheels is a lt255/85r16 BFG Mud Terrain, it's not much bigger then a 235/85r16 but it won't balloon on the stock wheels. Last thing you want to do is spend $1,500+ on new all terrains and have the fronts scallop overnight because they're on a 6.5" wide wheel.

You can put whatever tire will fit, I was just saying to fit on the wheel properly 255 is the widest you'd want to go. I've put 12.5" wide tires on 6.5" wide wheels, but duals won't clear with that wide of a tire

Would you know anything about the spacers they make and how they work. I heard they work up to a point. Are there any problems that come with spacers?

Yea your wheel studs will be too short and when you load enough weight on it your wheels will come off goin down the road. Other than that they're great
