6.2 fuel problems
#11
just pulled the intake off. then pulled off the hose at the ip and turned the lp on. and i got good flow all the way to the ip.... i pulled the nipple for the hose off and no screen.. is it further inside or is there not one on this pump. and when i went to take that nipple off the whole back part moved, that the nipple is fastened to... is that ok or is that for timing......
I also grabbed the numbers off the pump.

If there is no screen, then it can't be plugged-been too long since I had one of those pumps apart to remember for sure.
If fuel has made it that far, your trouble would almost have to be a timing chain/gear problem or the key in the IP drive flange must be sheared or the shaft could have broken inside the IP?
Did you check for any return line restrictions or blockage yet?

A 6.2 and 6.5 short block are the same engine except for bore size,no issues with the heads.
Get ARP heads studs that are usually listed for 6.2 and follow the instructions on them to the letter, also if the heads have been resurfaced you would do well to use +.010 head gaskets usually to maintain the compression rating as stock.
With a 6.2 short block the problem is less pronounced so standard head gaskets would likely be ok,I would have to do some calculations to be certain though.

IIRC the 6.5 injectors must use the 6.5 lines?
Ebay is as good a place as any for lines.
Just found these, might be what you need?
