Default 95 gmc coolant comes out of overflow tank

Hi I have a 95 gmc 2500 . Recently I did an oil change and topped all the fluids off. How ever I think I topped the resovor off a little too much.

I am a member of a call fire dept, so after I go to the call I let the truck idle for a while and every time it idles there is a puddle of anti freeze coming from the hose off the tank.

Never did this before, only after I topped it off the last oil change. Does this seem normal if fluid is too full or something wrong? Truck runs beautiful.
I'm not sure if I'm panicking or just over thinking.
Thanks in advance

If the coolant overflow tank is full to the very top you will get overflow because the coolant expands when heated and needs more space.

If the tank is only up to the full mark and you get overflow it is time to start doing some checks on the cooling system.

When the engine is cold, first start of the day-check to see if the upper rad hose gets hard quickly before it gets warm? Also look for bubbles in the coolant overflow tank.
If so,expect a blown head gasket, cracked head or cracked engine block.
