Default Oil catch can on "tuna can"

Hi guys newbie here had a search on the forum (excellent knowledge base) question i have has anyone put a oil catch can between the CDR valve and the turbo on a 6.5 optimizer I am getting a new mechanical injected 6.5 and not being familiar with them was wondering if it is even necessary or wise to do this given the way the valve works.
On a separate note good luck to those affected by Sandy she has been on the news other here, in Australia.
Cheers Karl

Should not be required at all on a new engine, provided the CDR works properly.
