Better look into your lift pump function-have not run into air in the IP when there is a working lift pump.

. My lift pump is good, I had replaced #1 injector and relocated the ffm but got a little careless and hurried when purging the air from the new lines and filter. Was totally my own fault. Definitely won't let that happen again.

Where does the second hose coming off the fuel bleed valve go. Mine dry rotted and it’s just falling apart. I thought it went to the fuel injection pump but I have know idea.

it just goes to open air. Mine was gone long ago. It just allows you to empty the fuel filter into a can or bucket when you drain out water or sediment.

The bleed valve gets bolted where I circled. The line that's pointing to the hose has diesel spitting out of it when the truck is running. I need to replace the hose with line cause it's dry rotted. The second picture I circled is what I think is the same hose but not positive.

The 2nd hose from the filter valve runs underneath the injection pump and hangs on a bracket on the thermostat housing. It has a small valve on top. So you bleed from the filter valve first, then the second valve hanging from the thermostat housing.

Trying to use same technique with brake bleeder if I remove the return line do I hook up top filter housing or do I connect to return line and do I plug or keep open
