rip boyd, he did make some great cars

I couldn't stand him, his show or his wheels, his shop got a good reputation from the cars built while troy was there, after troy left, boyd just proved that you can throw enough aftermarket and nice paint at any car and make it nice, not a whole lot of art or vision. most guys I've heard of doing business with him say he was an arrogant *******. but like him or not, he did a LOT in the hot rodding community and brought a lot of attention to it.

even in light of all that, it still sucks that he passed. fortunately his family will be sitting okay financially for a few years...
