I never met him so I don't know if the TV made him have the personality they wanted or not but I will say it's a sad day. Nice guy or not he was a legend and not easily replaced.

i actually met the guy and shook his hand about 3 years ago at a local car show. He complimented me on my truck and gave a few suggestions and then he kept walking around

He (Or his shop)did a lot of nice work.Rest In Peace fellow hot-rodder.

RIP Boyd, you will be missed.

Does anybody know what happened? I read he was hospitalized a couple times in the past few months, but I don't know what for. It's to bad to hear hes gone. He made some great rides in his lifetime!

from what i read, its undisclosed......i didnt care too much for him but he did alot for hot rodding.....
