Seriously, get some leds from radio shack, and a 9volt battery to power them. Thats light weight, and you can have tail lights and cab lights. You can even get clear ones for headlights. Just duct tape the battery and wires to the cardboard on the inside.
For stacks, use vacuum cleaner extensions, or get shipping tubes, paint them silver, and angle cut them, but I wouldn't try to make 'em smoke. Not PC you know!
