I don't know how you guys do it, my wife and I do everything together. She's been off work for a month thanks to a shoulder injury at work so she rides with me if I have to go out of town or whatever. We've decided that once she get healed up she's not going back to work, we really do love being able to see each other every day.

I let work keep me away from the first wife and we lost touch, I'm damn sure not going to let that happen again.

 

HAHAHAHAHA i thought women only manifested things in there heads......

 

15 years married, 18 years together... From the time I was 20 I have been on the road. We enjoy the time together, and are a team.

She works at home, raising our three children, paying the bill's, housework, field work and everything else you guys do when you are home...

Excursion needs an oil change, she does it (I mean SHE does it). Something breaks, She fixes it...

I'm just lucky I guess!

 

yea when i get home we are spending the next 2 days with each other. then we both have to work the weekend and monday. then we get the next weekend together. I do enjoy every minute with her and she the same with me. but we knew wht was going to happen if i re enlisted and are commited to each other.

 

When you're gone for long perionds of time, you could go do some online shopping to take the place of things you might do once in a while if you were home--surprise her with flowers, or if she gardens, order her something to plant, or if she likes houseplants, have one sent to her, or send e-cards just to say you're thinking of her, post youtube videos on fb of stuff you're listening to lately, or on DB if she's on here. Maybe stuff like that will help create a sense of sharing your lives together everyday even if you aren't there everyday.

 

haha man its funny you say buy stuff for her. I buy a LOT stuff for her but the problem is ship internet is so slow that she just gets a email with links for what i want to get her and picks what she wants. And we email every night. But now im home and we got to spend a couple days together. It was great. Thanks for the help everybody. and no women are not the only ones who manifest stuff in their heads. I do a lot but i deal with anxiety issues (maybe to personal) and well if i dont get to at least talk a little with my wife i kinda freak out a little. She is my rock and has helped me probably more then she may ever know.
