Default Wiring isuues???

I've been trying to sell my obs for a little while now so I can get through some legal crap and I've found a truck that I can buy and still pay my attorney and be rid of the headaches. My dad has a 94 Ranger that he bought as a salvage truck. The blower motor caught fire and burnt out of the firewall, otherwise the truck runs fine and drives perfect. It's got 91k miles and 3k worth of repairs and new parts. It's no diesel but it'll have to do for a while .

Today I started cleaning up some of the burnt crap under the hood and it's really not hurt too bad. There's three or four wires that the coating is actually burnt through, other than that its mostly just melted plastic. The issue is inside the truck. When I roll down the passenger window, the mirror moves with it for some reason. As for rolling it back up, it draws so much power the lights dim and it pulls the engine down at idle. I'm actually wondering if this could be the master switch on the drivers side because it rolls up and down fine fron the passenger side. There's also a distinct pop from behind the door panel like the switch is shorting when you push up on the passenger window switch. I've seen similar things like this and I'm not sure if it's just coincedence that it's happening after the truck already had an electrical fire or if I do have a bare wire that I haven't found yet. Also, there's a cobble f#@$ mess under the dash for a trailer brake controller that will be making a quick exit this weekend. There's a a wire running from a hot spot to a ground on the firewall with a connector in between. I have no need for it in a Ranger so I'm just going to trace all the wiring to their sources and do away with it.

i know it's bunch for one post but I wanted to try and explain it as well as I could. It's a really cost friendly solution so i can better things for my family and I need to get it all figured out before I land a job and have no wheels . All of the parts that need replaced are totalling less than $200 right now and I think it may have to have set of hubs, but that still puts me at less than $1500 in a decent little truck till I can get back on track and buy another diesel. Everybody here has been really helpful before and I hope there's somebody that can help me out. I'm pretty decent with wiring but any help is greatly appreciated.
