It's an extreme case but it's a part of the game. She's gonna feel sorry for herself until she get's pised off about it. Then you better really watch out cause then she's gonna have a one track mind about learning everything there is to know about this and ready to do whatever it takes to fix it no matter how stupid it sounds to us so called, normal folks.

I still think she needs another opinion on the matter. I know she works in the hospital and has a certain doctor there that she thinks is the greatest. But if this was a patient of hers she would tell them to get another opinion if they don't like the first one. She just needs to listen to her own advice.

I feel like I'm talkin to my own wife here.

thats funny. She has had seconds and thirds 3 diff doctors but none say this is all that bad and she does feel a little better and keeps felling better arm still hurts and the clot is not fully gone yet but it will and she will be able to work again and so on but with the problem that she has with lacking something in the blood the doctor she sees has it to he didnt stop his life. I guess i just dont understand but time heas as long as i dont go batty soon

Well its been a month and 2 weeks and she had her test on the arm. That darn clot is still there. Seems to have not shrunk at all. No she is all being back to full depresion again. Just laying around and stuff. This clot is a pain in the u know what. Gees. Now she is out of work for a long time. I dont know what else i can do for her but to be there for her.

Well just thought everyone would like to know another up-date

Well just a little up date we saw the second doctor and said that the blood clot maybe gone and that the blood thinner puts a coating around the dammaged vesel and makes it look like the clot is still there and may always look like that . But she is still worried in the back of her head and dosent want to do anything that may break the clot loss if it is still there. But time does heal a little and she is comming around so far. But not out of the woods yet they want her to stay on the blood thinners for 3 months and they did say she can go back to work but a nurse in the icu have to help heavy patients at times and she can not move them so they will have to help her in a team way i hope.

Well just thought you all would like to know and now i have to deal with the drunk that ran into my truck in my driveway too

Glad to hear some good news about this finally. She'll be fine in ICU as long as hat's what she wants to do. She'll figure out new ways of doin things that don't take so much effort on her part and for the things she just can't do they will take care of her. That's what all the Orderly's, LPN's and Nurse Assitstants are for.
