This is my first day on this site. This is my first thread to read. You are the kind of people I want to associate with. Not one of you had anything negative to say to Stroker400 about being off subject. All of the care and compassion you folks are sending to Stroker's girlfriend is truly amazing. Yeah we all have trucks but our lives and families come first.
Stroker400- You are lucky ,as I am, to have found a great group of people who usually are macho techy and matter of fact that are not afraid to show thier human side and show compasion. I have already told my girlfriend about your situation and the responses of this forum. She and I send thoughts and prayers to you and your girlfriend. The guys are right. She may say go away but she really needs you now. Let her know you are there for her. Let her read this forum! We are moved and impressed as I'm sure she will be.
With all of the new technology in medicine I'm sure that there is something out there for her situation that will get her system on the right track.
If you are still looking for a job, try your local office of your State Workforce Commission. A free service for anyone looking for work. They will test you and find a job in your skill level. Help you with resume writting and interview skills. They even have a list of "Start Today" jobs that may not pay high end but it is food on the table until a better job is found for you.

Well here is a little up-date. She saw the doctor today and it is a blood disorder. something like her blood lacks the clotting factor or something. But its not fixable. So her arm is damaged for life also since she has had so much trama to it. And since her blood lacks a factor that never caused a problem till last winter when a punk kid drove his parents mini van head on in to her that the surgry and stuff to her arm caused this to happen. This was right out of the docs mouth. So she is stuck for life with a bad arm and no its more prone to blood clots god i hope i never see that punk kid again the shinny diesel truck will be the next post on here ripping that van in half with a few chains . i hand to say that i feel better now. That kid drove right into her at 60 plus mph last min. like he wanted to die hell he walked away. but now the lawyers are going to have a ball with him no that she has a life threating problem from the surgry s she had to have done. But its not over yet shes still not in the clear yet doing a little better but all that took her nursing job and put it on hold too. and she is not to lift or pull anything with that arm so the nursing thing in the icu may not happen anymore grrrrrrrrr. My heart breaks for her.

Sorry to hear that bud - sometimes life throws you (or her) a curveball. I can only offer encouragement, good luck, and well wishes.

Remember, whatever your situation is, there is usually someone in worse shape or in a worse situation than you - never lose hope, keep a positive attitude and have faith and good things will happen.

O my now shes getting weird. I dont know how to handle this anymore its almost making me laugh but not really. its hard not to now she is putting alot of her stuff in the bedroom away and taking it all off the ways its like a a bare room nothing o boy. But god she is acting like her life is over cause the doctor told her her arm is damaged for good but she is walking talking and useing it and even moving it. O boy i guess its just a temp thing but she even took down all her pictures of me and everyone.
