I only use Pro V's, I have used pretty much everything. I like the feel of the ball when it leaves the club head. To me they are the best, but I also like the Nike One Black.

 

I bought clubs and a bag (Taylor something, I think), *****, practice net, shoes, gloves, glasses, **** bag, spikes, towels, caps, more *****. Went once & I suck'd. Haven't been out in 8 years. But I have all the stuff if I ever do find the time...

You'll lose spin on approach shots, if that's an issue....but will probably gain 15 yards over the Pro V...but maybe more, you seem to be unique.

 

How much spin? If I playing a course with low cut fairways and tight greens is it going to stop like a rock?

 

Unless you can hit it way high in the air, the chances of "drop and stop" on anything short of a saturated green are nil.

They're pretty much a distance rock. They have some spin, but nothing compared to a Pro V, Nike Black, Callaway Tour, etc...

I can get some spin rate data for ya here in a bit.

That's the big reason I went with the Pro V's is because they had good lift with some spin.

 

Do you know what your smash factor, launch angle, and spin rates are?
