but here`s an idea have her picked up in a limo (or you pick her up) take her to a spa to be pampered for the afternoon when over she can be brought to either a restaurant with you waiting for her or to your home where you have cooked her a romantic dinner with candles wine chilled music playing waiting for her, after a relaxing dinner ya pop her favorite movie in and suffer thru it with no complaints
after the movie ya give her the gift basket with her favorite chocolates fruits and the digital picture frame with her favorite pictures of the two of you would be a good bet too

flowers suck, I spend 50.00 last year and they didnt last a week I was NOT happy!

I like the basket of favorites seems to be a good deal but more are always welcome!!!

we Live in Hudson and have 2 traffic lights so there isnt a limo or massage place for 60 miles. I cant do a limo but I have a 18 passenger dodge van that would work

okay better idea cook romantic dinner, candles, music have gift basket with massage oils and bath stuff and chocolate after dinner run her a bath but have candles all over and chocolate or fruit ya can feed her while she is in there, after bath romantic massage with oils
its cheap, requires thought and effort on your part

 

I am so with ya the getting a room and spa stuff is high.
I love the gift basket idea. S he would be touched to see all her fav things in one gift. Great idea and not expensive either

small things are the stuff that count, get her away from anything and everything that can and does stress her and make her feel special, candlelite dinner with all the stuff (roses petal, candles, etc...), make her a warm bath and just set by the tub and let her relax, give her a massage, feed her fruit, that kind of stuff.........or do what i suggested in the badlands.....either way, its your call......id say this suggestion is better than the other one i gave ya......

 

Well, Bobby is in double trouble... Valentine's Day is my birthday too.

Last year, I came home from work, to a fabulous candle lit dinner and rose petals every where, we had rack of lamb for dinner and then he ran me a bubble bath and covered the whole bathroom in red and white candles. While I was in the tub, he cleaned up dinner and washed the dishes (WOO HOO!). When I got out, the rose petals led into our room where he had bought me a little "outfit". It didn't fit, but it was the thought that counted, right? Still was a pretty impressive night.

My favorite still has to be our first... He ordered me a teddy bear from the Vermont Teddy Bear Co. They have more bears than I have ever seen. So this box is delivered to work and I open it up and it is a bear in a firefighter helmet and boxer shorts with flames on them and the bear even has a tatoo on it's arm in the same place that he has one. It was so cute!

Here' a little redneck Valentine's present for ya... The next year, he surprised me with dual exhaust on my Yukon. Now, that was awesome!

 

how about a star, she gets to name it whatever she wants.. I want to buy one for my gf who was just widowed,, she can name it after her hubby. my daughter got one from her bf for xmas... i thought it was a cool thought..ill see if i can find the site... you get a teddy bear with it too..
