You didnt have to be anywhere near the coast to get K.Oed by Irene,Vermont has the worse flooding ever.But the coast was no bargain either lost 4 trees in my back yard alone and still no power for many.

Roads all over the place are closed, I'm talkin major highways with 4 foot of water on them, never seen that before. Ellicott city better be prepared, they say this is the worst sinse hurricane Agnes in 1972, the rivers in PA. are going to top out above the Agnes levels, might be trouble for Coniwingo dam on the susquhana river, during agnes the corp of engineers had the dam rigged to blow so they could save the hydro electric plant but they lucked out by 2 feet of water, with all the gates open they just managed to save it, not good for everyone down stream, they were wiped out. Susquhana is supposed to crest at 38' that is 6' more than when Agness hit
