Going on two days without power.... Thank god for generators!

I lost power for about 3 hours yesterday, other than that nothing major happened here in central MA

Didn't lose power throught the whole thing.. that is a first for me. Amazing what trimming around the 13,000+ volt lines will do for the commuity.

I hear ya, allthough around here they are 4160v lines in the neighborhoods, with all that wind I could see and here the lines getting hit but I think pepco turned up the trip settings on there main breakers so it would just burn the limbs off Its amazing what a couple miles makes with a storm like that

Make sure you stock up on fuel for the next one, katia, the name that replaced Katrina, is heading this way, it is way off now but preliminary tracking is bringing it to the east coast..
