Phil....im doing up some jerky with beef ,deer, and elk burger.. (all seperate),
Devin got this jerky strip maker gun..Its called Jerky works.. made by Nesco American Harvest. and the seasoning is from Hi Mountain, and i found the emeral seasoning so ill do your marinate as well....im just wonderin if youve ever used burger before? I usually use strips so I havent used burger, is it better to marinate before striping it or after....... any ideas. or hint on useing this will be really helpful......... thanks.Jenn

 

Hey next time you make some add some on there for me. I will send you some money to pay for the extra supplies needed to make it and shipping.

 

I used hamburger for the strips. How many pounds of ground meat are you using? Just make up a batch of the marinade and mix it in with the meat until it gets to a good consistency (not to thin not to thick). Mix this up the day before you decide to make it and let it sit in the fridge.

ok I put the seasoning in the bowl with the burger, its kinda dry looking?? not like yours at all...I put the packaged cure in with the seasoning pack, with a bit of emerals season some cracked black pepper. i put some pics in my photobucket then i dont have to minimise it.....tell me what you think,, it smells really good..mmm
