I kinda want to get a smaller blue Cummins "C" on my shoulder

Like 3everyone has said, choose wisely. I am 22 now and have a tattoo that i got when i was 19 that i am in the planning stages of getting covered up, and its not just a small tat. it goes across my chest from shoulder to shoulder. Like others have said, make sure you are 100 percent positive you want it. I have nothing against them what so ever. I have a rib piece that goes from armpit to love hand, and wraps front to back on my left side. its my pride and joy, and I paid for it in PAIN more than anything.

As for the truck, that is up to you. I refuse to get any brand or logo tattooed on my body for the simple fact that a lot of business's go under, or change logos numerous times over the years. Thats just my 2 cents tho

@smokiinram, get something simple and small where you can easily hide it to get your fix. Then wait. Something really meaningful will happen in your life. If anything, think of it as saving the good canvas for really meaningful things. I'm so glad I didn't get a couple ideas I had and its only been a couple years. I've already got better things to go there.

What the heck is the history of the rat fink logo? Why do I see a ton of tattoos of some disgusting looking squirmy little green rat? Where is the appeal? I just don't understand.

 

it was just something that Ed Roth Created For his hatred of mickey mouse.He was a custom car builder in the 60s and originated kustom kulture,the whole rat rod scene. and rat fink just became the icon of that era for rat rods and such

 

i have 3 tattoos

1 I got when I was 18 by my older brother who is a tattoo artist by trade
1 I got about a year ago as a tribal arm band
1 I got a month ago, it is the Arabic lettering for "Infidel". this one means more to me than any other I have. I lost 2 friends I went to school with within 2 months of each other in Iraq / Afghanistan. They were the Infidels, the ones that were targeted and killed because they were "Infidels". I wear it on my forearm as a remembrance piece....

 

smokeeater that piece is amazing! and to anyone thinking about a tattoo, dont get one just to get one, put some thought into it and make sure it has meaning, once you have it your stuck with it. I have 4, a big rib piece, a half sleeve on my left arm and working on the right arm, and a small one on my left rib cage.
