is it leagel to talk on a nextel 2 way while driving in ny due to the fact i got a ticket for it in a fully lettered company truck the cop was a huge #&%# head and if i get 1 more ticket i losse my lisence this 1 wont affect that i dont think but still thought the 2 way was ok

Since your one strike away from loosing your license(and possibly your job?) wouldn't it be better to err on the side of caution?

Does the law include 2-way radios also or just phones.

 

That is a letter of the law thing, technically Nextel is a cell phone, but used as a 2 way.

I would get an attorney for sure, especially if I was one strike away. I am glad Texas does not have a point system or a cell phone law except in school zones.

 

In FLORIDA you can drive & talk on your cell-phone But we have a point system, 12 points in 1 year your license is suspended

 

This, get an attorney. They will most likly get you out of it, or atleast the points.
