Small world....I was working at Ft. Lewis and McCHord AFB last week.

There are some HUGE bulls and huge bucks up in the Nisqually hills inside the base lines....you can buy a fishing permit, but not a hunting permit.

They stand right next to the road and just chew their cud and stare at you--almost like "wish you had a gun, huh asshat?"

 

I spent 3 months up in Wisconsin a few years back for our pre-deployment training during the winter on the base there. What a joke. All them hunters out in the woods and every deer within 50 miles was livin inside the contonement area between the buildings where there was no hunting allowed. They were like pets, hundreds of em in every size.

 

Them horned critters are smart, that's for sure.......
