oh yea...I would also have a 99 white sport xj with full width dana 60's underneath. Low and flexy and able to fit 37inch Krawlers. 4bt turned up to about 350 hp with an nv4500 and one of those new stak 3 speed transfer cases.

Then I would want about a 2001 long bed quad cab 1500 2wd. Convert it to 4wd with ifs in the front. Put a nice and light 750 hp stroker motor and turn it into a desert truck.

um...I'll come up with more

wait. 2001 2500 shortbed quad cab. Nice stout 500 hp build lower it down some and give it a nice suspension to make the corners fun. some nice twenties with some real sticky tires. put four bucket seats in it that will hold you nice and tight, go ahead and cage it for safety as well...

that's all for now.
who is getting their checkbook out?

I'm working on it now. The Fodge, as we call it around the shop.

I only wish I had the time to pull the cab to powder coat the frame, and the time to repaint the cab. Not that it needs it, but then it would feel like a new truck all the way around.

A few more bombs for my truck of course.
A few other rides I've always wanted:
1) about $30K to build my baja bug into a real competative full-on desert race car
2) I don't like Cebbys, but for some reason I've always loved the '57 Chev. I'd take one of those and put as much power under the hood as possible.--I'm talkin' a twin turbo 572 with all the trimmings, just for cruise nights at the Burger Stop.
3) my grandfather's 24 Dodge Brothers Touring car (in my avitar) fully restored--in the works for 25 years now...
