Default Firing Order

Can't find any firing orders for a Chrysler 225 engine with a inline 6. From years 78'-86'. If anybody knows them or where to find them, please let me know. Thanks

I already new that order, but it ain't working. Its backfiring through the carburetor, which means its out of time. I was told that when i changed the plugs, wires, and distributor cap that i put the wires on wrong and that was the problem. Look for orders but not 1-5-3-6-2-4

almost every 6 is 1-5-3-6-2-4.

easy way to remember.....

15 is to young, 36 is to old, 24 is just right.

cant u just find number one on the dizzy and go from there?

I'd like to get $250 for it, includes shifter, radiator, about anything you need to run it. It's still bolted together.
You might have slipped the timing chain.

Is the motor and trans good? and I looked for it and i can't find the timing chain. Is the motor a 225 or what?

I'm going to use my timing light and try to set it.

If you can get #1 TDC, remove the dist cap and see where it is pointed. Reference that to the cap, and that will be your #1 cylinder/spark plug. Worked for me before I seen the light of sparkless ignition.
