Firing Order
:argh: Can't find any firing orders for a Chrysler 225 engine with a inline 6. From years 78'-86'. If anybody knows them or where to find them, please let me know. Thanks

Moparts on the Web - Main Index Chrysler slant six performance upgrades Firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4 I have a complete motor and A833OD trans, if you want it. |
I already new that order, but it ain't working. Its backfiring through the carburetor, which means its out of time. I was told that when i changed the plugs, wires, and distributor cap that i put the wires on wrong and that was the problem. Look for orders but not 1-5-3-6-2-4

I don't know anymore. Thats what i was told. So i guess that ain't it. The freakin truck won't start and its back firing back through the carb. Yall have any idea why its doing that? I'm at my wits end and bought sell the stupid truck.:argh:
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- Oh, Racer9, what you asking for the trans and motor? |
I'd like to get $250 for it, includes shifter, radiator, about anything you need to run it. It's still bolted together.
You might have slipped the timing chain. |
Is the motor and trans good? and I looked for it and i can't find the timing chain. Is the motor a 225 or what? :humm:
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- I'm going to use my timing light and try to set it. |
If you can get #1 TDC, remove the dist cap and see where it is pointed. Reference that to the cap, and that will be your #1 cylinder/spark plug. Worked for me before I seen the light of sparkless ignition.
