I bought myself a Springfield Armory XD40. Going out this weekend to try her out. Got my stuff sent in for the 3 free mags and mag pouch and got them within a week. Its the .40 S&W 4" service model with 12 round mags. Empty, it feels like a Hi-Point, with a loaded mag, its balanced perfect. Love the way it feels in my hand. I can't wait to go out and shoot it! Thanks to all of you that had some input in my other thread.

good lookin gun...be careful...i was never a huge xd fan bc a trigger and rear grip safety isnt enough for me...

 

Thanks and will do. I like having the grip safety. Its comforting to know that there's something else besides the trigger one but it does feel kinda weird to not have a thumb safety.
