The day from H-LL just keeps getting better.
1:45 AM The police call that a car drove thru barricades that I had set up in the curb lane warning of a utility repair.
Note: each HAD flashing lights on them. 8 smashed barricades and the drunk didn't have insurance.
We poured concrete at 8:30 AM today to finish the street back to grade......at 9:45 AM the police call to say the barricades are partially knocked down and that I had better send someone to fix the concrete because one of the barricades is flipped into the concrete. The police hand me an incident report that shows that a young girl got a ticket for inattentive driving while talking on her CELL phone. 
I think her mom and dad will be pissed when they get my bill for 3 wiped our barricades and 2 guys for two hours of concrete refinishing. 
Thank you for letting me vent.........now I don't feel like hurting anyone.....As long as the phone doesn't ring.
