Im been trien to get into the military for a while and im just trien to find a good way to study. And i was just curious, if any of yall know of a good way to study? Ive got some books and ive tried to study and im kinda the person, i gotta have someone to teach it to me and ill understand. Just thought and see what ya'll think. Thanks

And im trien to get in to the marines and my last score was a 29 and i gotta have a 31 to pass

 

your recruiter should have study material for the asvab, and he should be able to give you practice tests.

and the asvab is not hard. is all skills. for example, i had his queston when i took the asvab:
Which of these is NOT part of the braking system on cars??
A)Brake lines
B)Master Cylinder
C)Hydraulic Pump
D) Rotor

 

if your recruiter cant get you ASVAB study materials then you can get them at any library. even if your a hands on learner just get the books they will help you alot more then 2 points and keep taking practice tests untill you feel comfertable

 

Thanks guys, what do you suggest on being timed part, ive never done good being timed? seems like everytime i take the test. i tell myself dont worry about time, dont worry bout the time and everytime i worry about the time and i just rush thru it.

Im wanting to get into MP (military police then go on to sniper)

 

timed?? i was done with about 30 minutes left on the timer and still scored good enough to get whatever job i wanted. dont worry about time, and dont rush thru it.

No real sure about the MP stuff. If you wanna go sniper, make sure you get 40/40 out your marksmanship. If you cannot do that, then you wont make it as a sniper

 

yea good luck on the sniper and MP thing.. all you are is a 2nd line infintry (spelling) but just keep your eye on target and dont worry about the time, take your time and if you hear them say something like 5 minutes left then just pick it up. better off getting the ones you know correct then guess and fly though them all

Sorry guys i havent been on here much but just a update. I went to the recuiters office on the 3th of Nov. and took a practice test and got a 19. and i was ashamed of myself and i told the recuiter what i made and he was like, if i was you i would go ahead and go to the army or college. And i told him, im gonna study for a week and take the test (do or die) So i finally put my noise in the books and stuided and stuided. Make a long story short. A week later i went back to the recuiter office and took another practice test and scored a 62 and i felt so happy. So i took the actual test the next day and made a 62. So now im gonna be shipped the 15th of Dec. now. While i was at the recuiter office, he showed me some jobs and the only one that seemed interesting and fun was infantry. So im going active in infantry for 5years. But i just wanted to let ya'll know
