Default Project Brian Cummins

Hey everyone i finally got a chance to sit at the computer and get this posted up. I wasn't able to post anything during the project to keep it a secret from Brian since i wasn't sure if anyone possibly knew him. But anyways the shop I work for is Truck Transmission and Turbo Specialists and one of our customers came in and was curious as to what we had to do to build up his son's truck as a surprise for him and thank him for his service to our country. Brian joined the marines 3 days after graduating high school and has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan with his military working dog, Rico. My manager Chuck Howell contacted a few local companies to ask them about donating to the cause and ended up receiving enough money to give the 1998.5 24 valve a boost in power. We installed an Aurora 3000 turbo, ATS Arc Flow, ATS 3 piece exhaust manifold, Racing valve body, ATS deep Transmission pan, ATS Differential Cover, Edge Juice with CTS, cowl induction hood, new rims, and as a personalized touch we had the valve cover ceramic coated and hand painted with Brians name and the tattoo he has on his wrist. We unveiled the truck to him last Sunday (6/27) and he was speechless from the moment he saw it. The story of project Brian will be in future issues of Diesel Power, Diesel World, and 8 Lug.

This link is to the blog his step father was updating throughout the project.
