I know you aren't looking for thank but thanks any way. What has been built here is not just a web page many on the outside wouldn't understand but it is a diesel family. We may all have different truck but we all have a common passion. You understand that the way no outside source could.
I gotta agree. Especially on the family part. I know that I've only been here a short time but I felt welcomed right away and have gotten lots of help, most with my truck, some with other stuff. I hope to be able to help out more as I learn. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I know that I've helped someone. I have to say that I found somewhere that I feel like I belong. If you had sold the site, most likely there would be membership fees and such and I wouldn't be here with everyone. Its great to have a place like DB to come to everyday and kind of get away from everyday life and its problems. As for the guy that built that truck, I can understand completely. My last truck, the guy said he was going to rebuild the motor or drop another one in and use the truck, I saw it on craigslist a few weeks later being parted out. That kinda let me done because other than the motor being toast, it was a perfectly good truck. And then on a smaller scale, my bumper. I made that thing with my own 2 hands and so many times I've thought about selling it, but I can't. I have too much of me into it to be able to put a price on it. If I were that guy that had that truck, after watching the other guy blow it up, I probably would have kicked his butt then gone home and cried my heart out for knowing that what took 11 years to build took a guy less than 11 minutes to destroy. So even though you are not looking for thanks, thank you, and everyone here for building this site to what it is today. I couldn't think of a better place to be...except maaaybe the highway in front of my house with a really fast truck

Chad, you never cease to amaze me or DB members. There are other times you've written about some trying to buy Db and you keep turning the offers down. You keep showing to everyone here your dedication for this site and love for this buisness.Thats why the site is growing so much and so fast.
This is one of the main reasons why i make DB my first stop after i get off work in the mornings.I also come here to unwind.
This place wouldn't be the same if it was bought out by someone that didn't care about this site.
Keep up the great work chad, and staff.

I've been here since damn near the beginning and I have seen this site change drastically from what it once was. When I joined there were maybe 100 members and not much info, but still a fun place to be. Now there are countless members and so much info it would be hard to even read it all, much less remember a whole lot of it. But one thing that has not changed is the dedication these guys provide to keeping the site up and running, full of valuable info and help, and good people. I know Chad and the rest of the guys aren't looking for a thanks, they are just doing what they do but Im sure all of us here feel the same way when we say thank you for all the hard work yall do.

thanks chad. what your building here is great. for the two years ive been here i too have seen it grow to something bigger. i remember when diesel bombers rarely got many new frequent posters. now it seems like everyday someone new is posting good helpful responces. also as in terms as a family and being friendly this is the best damn site out there for it in the diesel world.

Chad,
Thanks for not selling us out for a short term gain, you have built a remarkable site that most of us frequent daily. Keep up the great work.

If you love something that you built, NEVER sell it. Nobody else cares like the one that put their $$$ and labor into it. Might get what its worth $$$ wise, but the new owner will f*&@ up your dream of it. See it time and time again with classic cars. Thanks Chad for all the time and money you have put in to DB, its a great wealth of info and tons of great people willing to help.
