i was going to counterweight the doors, but dad said not to(and he wrote the check for it in the end, i just built what he said he wanted), they really arnt all that heavy, and its all square and level, what do u mean by cattywampus?

Awesome BBQ machine! A buddy and I were looking into doing this exact same thing.

 

well the cost of everything came out to about $1000, except the caseing was free (and i know that stuff isnt cheap). it really wasnt hard at all, and didnt take to long. i say go for it, its something that will last longer than a lifetime if done right.
