What lack of maintenance will do fer ya

My honey got a Polaris 2002 HO 500 in her divorce settlement...she knew it didnt run but wanted it anyway.

The folks at Polaris tell me that if ya dont change the oil every 50 hours you will get a flat cam..........yep kinna like this one

my index finget is pointin to where a cam lobe used to be........its almost totally gone

We had em do some other work too but it was 2k worth

its a shame when folks dont tsake care of their stuff

Polaris dude alsso said the farmers put whatever oil they can find in em and the same thing happens

Nuttin wrong with Polaris just use the right oil and change it like they say in the book

Polaris 4-wheelers/6 wheelers are the most maintenance intensive machines out there. Ask any bike shop other than the dealer.

I always used that Mobil1 MX4T synthetic oil in my four-wheeler. Good stuff and changed it once a month usually ridin it about 3-4 hours on the weekends. You've got to change the oil in those motors and use good oil if you want a four-wheeler or motorcycle engine to last.

i had a 2 ducati, that constancly needed to be maintained.. i still like ducatis nothign else like one

no other 4 wheeler rides like a polaris. I ridden them all and none of them can compare.
I but for work the polaris is good but belts arent a way to go if you're going to be pulling and what not.
I have a 91 polaris 350 and it has done me good.
