Wife is going down there for a vet conference and asked me if I wanted to join. I've never been and thought sure why not. Now I'm wondering why they'd have a conference in a place like this if it is so "iffy"?:pc:

well i'm down here and boy is it hot and hummid. i'll take the snow any day frankly. it is nearly 90 with about another 30 or so on the humidex.

best time down there is novenber, drink a cold one for me.

Up here where i am, it was 89 today, heat index 92.

 

Back in the north today. much easier to take. Blue sky a little rain and cool temps.

I would highly recommend that trip to anyone. The tourist areas are fine and are not a threat to anyone as far as I am concerned.

Never got to the WW2 museum but maybe next time.
