Right now I'm running Suave Smush V2. This is my 5th ROM and so far its my 2nd favorite. Evil Eris 3.0 is still my favorite. It seems to have the best speed and battery life.

 

So in the handy dandy app store I found a couple of nifty programs. The first is easyroot, touch of a button and you are rooted, doesn't say anything about unrooting but I don't know if that's needed. The other is setcpu to over/under clock and you can make profiles. Looked pretty good for a technology challenged person such as me. Anyone heard of them?

 

SetCPU only works with custom kernels they have too be added to a rom, but it will monitor your cpu/battery temps on a stock kernel. Its an awesome app IMO. The easy root just came out its been under development for a while. It only works for Droids with the android 2.1OTA update.
