i wouldnt be jealous at all.

 

But some guys are. I have had guys talk down to me like I'm a idiot and know nothing about my truck, then there are the men who are surprised a woman can drive a standard which pisses me off. I could go on and on about stupid things I have encountered. I think alot of it has to do with the women who know nothing but act like they do for the attention. If I just wanted attention I would dress trashy and go to events it's alot cheaper .

 

There's plenty of girlie-man dudes out there who don't know the difference bertween a valve cover and an oil pan.

It goes both ways - just not like Begle.

 

 

I spend a lot of time learning what I can about my trucks and A LOT of guys (because some dont warrant being called men) will try to snow me or snub me because there is no possible way that a woman/female/girl could possibly know something about being a diesel gear head. In my local play ground there are some that actually display little man syndrome because there are 3 of us that can keep up and put up if not pass most of the guys.

Ladies hang here because we DB gals have what it takes to play in the yard not just sit on the porch.

 

I always get asked if its my boyfriend's truck. Most the time I don't even let my boyfriend drive it.

 

 

Inferiority complex. Men are pre-programmed to be more dominant over women. It's partly instinct. Among guys it's known as '***** envy'... Men often seek to have more power than others. A lot of guys probably could not stand having a girlfriend who has a more powerful faster sport bike than they do, or a bigger more badass truck than they do. It crushes a man's ego. Not all guys are like that though. Some drive Priuses and eat vegetables.

 

FACT! Dont get me wrong I wouldnt want a girl with a bigger badder truck. That's one thing I couldn't handle. On the other hand it is nice to see that some women can get into the diesel world and have a good time.
