We are away on a little 'walk about' around this great country of ours. We have wanted to make this journey for a few years now and for one reason or another have always been prevented. Well, we are off to a good start so far!! I wanted to post before now, but with my schedule and spotty internet and all, this is the first. So far, this is where we have been.



From here we are headed East. We have tours set up in D.C. of some of our National Monuments. We are pretty excited and so far are having a lot of fun!

In any of you see this rig out and about, make sure to honk and wave! We look forward to seeing you all out there!

Thanks, we are already on the road. We left the house almost 3 weeks ago and won't be back until near the end of May (Unless I run out of fuel money! )

Sorry to be so allusive as of late. Been way to busy for weeks now. I did a bunch of work to the truck before we left and so far it is running a lot better than before. Right now the only problem is the trans won't wait to shift into O.D. I have to remember to use O.D. Lock Out every time I need it to wait to shift. I'm not sure what is going on but my boy may be right; he thinks this started when I moved the Smarty to 4 (From stock). I may move it back to stock and test this theory. But, other than that (Well, and poor economy!! ) we are having a good time.
If anyone wants I can try to make it back here once in a while with pics and such.....

Seriously, we are trying to fill in all the states we are missing. Unfortunately, I was a little slow getting the truck back together so we had to rush right down to OKC for my school. My boss was adamant about me not being late. What with getting the injectors back late, breaking parts inside my engine, never doing a valve body before, and so on; I wasn't even sure if it would start or move as I started it to actually hitch up and move out! I guess I was a little stressed. But, lets see: I made it to school; graduated; and now we are just sight seeing! Now we can all relax and have some fun (Well, except for when I have to stop for fuel every 200 or so miles and it is usually close to $100 ) Oh well, when I run out of money, I guess we head home . . .

Hey Dan, guess Photobucket don't like you much these days. Hope yer havin a good trip though. That is one long vacation. I see Illinois shaded in, what parts of the state are you headin to here and when ya gonna be here.
