Default Sumitomo Tire, Any Good

Anybody ever hear of these??

These are the ones Big O tire shop recommends for the wife's 94 Grand Am.

Have the spare on the car now & need to order some tires tomorrow when the shops computer comes back up.

They also said the Sumitomo Touring LSV (expensive) and Tempest (around $420) are good.

I've never heard of the car/suv tires but I know there's a good number of guys running the commercial tires on their 1-tons and have had no issues with them.

Goodyear and Sumitomo( a japanese brand) work together in a joint venture. Dunlop Uk belongs to Sumitomo.
