Hey handymanherb,
You have taken the worst example of europe!
It's not a secret that the british healthcare is not the best.
Sometimes you wait a half year on surgery- no wonder that you can die in the time between.
Cancer is difficult, because chance of healing depends on early warning diagnosis.
no cancer recognition- no chance to survive.
Health companies made a 200 billion plus last year- so what- it works!
But no way that a smoker gets the same treatment as a non smoker. He has to pay for his cancer caused by himself.

It's nice to hear the bill actually passed. Progress is a slow moving beast.
I don't care if I'm the only one on here who actually approves of this, there's a reason the rest of the developed world looks after its citizens with free health care.

1. If you cant afford to get health insurance, get a better job.
2. If your employer does not provide health insurance, get your own.
3. If your employer does not provide health insurance, see the first comment.
4. If you cant afford to get health insurance and you have kids, STOP HAVING kids.
Its quite simple, Better yourself at your own expense, not mine.
I don't mind giving a hand up.
I will not give a hand out.
Sick of this crap.

ok so the basic idea of health care is like gambeling...healthcare is a casino...the house (healthcare companies) with lose their *** if they put a game on the floor where they always loose (like letting ppl that way 500 pounds buy in for the same rate as a healthy person) so u know what they do...they say hey mr fat man...ur probly gunna have some problems so ur gunna have to pay more bc ur more of a risk to our profits than this other person...the same is true in the world of auto insurance...if you have totaled 10 cars in 2 yrs ur cost of insurance is going to be through the roof...ya its a person life but the basic idea of our country it TO MAKE MONEY...everyone except obama seems to like making money

amen brother and whats sad is how much this is gunna cost just to get 30 million ppl insured (most of whom choose not to buy it cause they are 25 and bullet proof)
